Unconditional Waiver and Release on Progress Payment (Texas)

What the statute says this form is for

Section 53.284(c) sets out this form for an unconditional waiver and release used to prove receipt of good and sufficient funds for a progress payment, where the claimant asserts in it that the progress payment has been paid. Section 53.284 requires the notice at the top of the document, in bold type at least as large as the largest type used in the document and not smaller than 10-point type. Section 53.283 says a person may not require a claimant to sign an unconditional waiver and release unless the claimant received payment.
